BRUNSWICK, Ga. — What began as an alleged attempted robbery at a Brunswick residence early Monday morning turned into a gunfight that left two people wounded, one fighting for his life. Now five people are behind bars, and investigators say additional arrests are expected.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation, working alongside the Brunswick Police Department, announced Wednesday that five Brunswick residents have been arrested in connection with the October 12 shooting near Union Street and S Street.
